School and sports physicals

A school and sports physicals are routine test often required for participation in school sports and other activities.  Our doctors will determine the overall status of your health and determine whether or not you are fit to participate in activities or handle demands of the sport.  The level of  testing and examination required during the physical is determined by the school.

Why school and sports physicals are important

Physicals are needed to determine if a student is healthy enough to participate in activities or sports and minimize the risk of sports-related injuries. This exam is designed to identify any high-risk disorder or condition that might affect an students ability to play.   It also makes sure that your child is up-to-date with their immunizations:  tetanus, the hepatitis B series, chickenpox vaccine, and the measles immunization.
