Work Physicals

Work physicals are routine test often required for some employers that require a pre-employment screenings.  The doctor will determine the overall status of your health and determine whether or not you are fit to participate in activities or perform the upcoming work duties.  The level of  testing and examination required during work physicals are determined by the employer.

Why work physicals are important

The goal of the pre-employment physical is to determine if the prospective employee is capable of performing the physical demands and stress of the job. These test make it possible to increase productivity by identifying candidates who would not be able to carry out the physical requirements of a particular job.  A pre-employment physical maximizes safety in the workplace, and minimizes the risk of workplace accidents.  If a health concern is identified during the exam, the patient can address the issue before it becomes more serious.
